最近，區域與資源規劃系趙筱青教授爲通訊作者，研究生李思楠爲第一作者，普軍偉、苗培培、王茜和譚琨爲合作者的研究論文“Optimize and control territorial spatial functional areas to improve the ecological stability and total environment in karst areas of Southwest China”，在国际重要的土地政策TOP期刊Land Use Policy（SSCI一区，影响因子3.682）上在线发表，报道了赵筱青教授团队研究领域的最新研究成果。
  研究主要贡献是基于城镇-农业-生态适宜性和资源环境承载力评价，提出了一套适用于喀斯特地区的国土空间功能区优化方法和不适宜区的修正规划，划分了喀斯特地区不同的国土空间功能区类型，并构建了以国土空间功能区管控和石漠化空间管控为核心的喀斯特地区国土空间管控模式。该成果解决了长期困扰喀斯特地区的国土功能冲突与石漠化治理难度大的问题，为喀斯特地区国土空间的规划与管理提供了参考。
